• Shoebox Packing Party – Join our United 4 Him Youth October 20 from 6 to 7 pm in the Life Center to pack an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox! Our teens have collected all the supplies necessary to pack over 100 boxes, but we need your help. Come pack a box, pray over it and then write a personal note to your child who will be receiving your box. It is that easy!
  • Cars ‘N Candy Food Truck Rally – This is the largest outreach we will have this year, and with over 3000 kids coming by our campus we need to have a massive amount of candy on hand. The Fellowship Hall will be open every day this week for you to drop off your generous donations.   • Community Thanksgiving Dinner – Help us reach out to our community by joining our Thanksgiving dinner team. We are specifically looking for someone to take lead on Thanksgiving Day. Other areas include Delivery team navigator, Security, cooks, servers, setup and cleanup and so much more.   • Irresistible with The Paradigm Class – You are invited to join the Paradigm Class starting October 27 in room 13 at 9:15 am as we challenge ourselves through Andy Stanley’s study, Irresistible: Reclaiming the New that Jesus Unleashed for the New World, to embrace the version of faith that, against all odds, initiated a chain of events resulting in the most significant and extensive cultural transformation the world has ever seen. 

  • Winter Beth Moore Study – Our next Beth Moore video series will begin on Thursday, January 9. Registration for the 11-week video series video study, The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob begins today online at whatis1st.com/bethmoore or you may pick up a form at any of our entrances. Registration will close on Sunday, December 22. The cost is $15 for the book and $5 for the class, payable on January 9.

  • Childcare Assistance Needed – We are in need of assistance with childcare for Homebuilders 2.0 on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, and for the Mothers of Preschoolers program (MOPS) starting in January. For more information, fill out the Connect Card on your bulletin.
  • Wyldlife Middle School retreat – Any middle school students wishing to attend the fall Wyldlife retreat this November 8 -10 must return their registration form and deposit by this Friday, October 25. See our Youth Director, Tim Buck for all the details.

  • Mission Sunday – For 35 years Agape Flights has provided support to 300 missionary families in the Bahamas, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Agape Flights responded to the Bahamian Government and other relief organizations call for help, flying over 200,000 pounds of relief supplies following Hurricane Dorian. Your faithfulness to missions giving keeps Agape Flights in the air, providing for those in need.
  • It’s Operation Christmas Child Season! – Yes, the red and green shoeboxes are available at all doors in the Sanctuary and Life Center. Please return your filled box to the Fellowship Hall and place it in the brown cartons marked “Operation Christmas Child.” You may track your box by following the instructions provided on samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/follow-your-box-lookup.
  • Men’s Fellowship Dinner – Our Men’s Fellowship Dinner is tomorrow at 6 pm in the Life Center. As a reminder everyone is invited to join us at 6:30 pm for the program featuring our guest speaker, Punta Gorda Fire Chief, Ray Briggs.

  • Community Support Event – On Wednesday, November 13, we will host a screening of Brain Matters, a documentary on child brain development.
